Shoreham Geography Trip

With one group of students only recently returned from collecting primary data in Devon, the rest of Year 11 Geography spent yesterday gathering their own data in Shoreham. Students put into practice techniques like field sketching, beach profiling and long-shore drift measurements, and took the opportunity to put much of the theory covered during lessons into context.

The data collected over these 2 trips feeds directly into pupils’ GCSE Controlled Assessment Enquiry, an essential part of the qualification forming 25% of their final grade.
