Our service provider Capita have advised that normal service has been restored for all Hosted Learning Gateway customers. Customers accessing the Hosted Learning Gateway may have experienced slowness, the inability to use specific features or received the following error: “unable to connect to the SQL server session database”. Our engineers have identified an issue at the infrastructure layer and have now rectified it. The root cause of the problem has been identified and preventive measures have been put in place to avoid a reoccurrence of this issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this incident.
