Year 7 and 8 students revealed their fantastic CrackIt sports equipment designs of ‘Googly’ and ‘Shadow Rex’ playing head-to-head in a street 20 tournament. The match saw great action from both teams but ‘Got The Runs’ did get the runs and won the tournament overall against ‘The Raging Fireballs’. The tournament was kindly supported by family and friends who also made donations to raise funds for the school sports hall project.

The CrackIt programme has seen students working excellently together in their teams fusing design and street 20 cricket to create their own sports kit as well as develop their cricketing skills with a Sussex County Cricket coach.

CrackIt returns next term with a Football theme and will see students working together to design their very own football kit and develop their footballing skills with Sussex FA coaches. Watch out for more information on this soon!
