Year 7 students shaving their heads for charity

Update: Visit this post for an update on their success!
On Monday the 9th of July three Year 7 girls (Lola Rodericks, Lilia Dunn and Holly Holdsworth) are having their heads shaved to raise awareness and money for Bethany’s Wish a cancer charity that supports those suffering from Wilms tumour, a rare childhood cancer of the Kidney. They will also be donating the hair that is shaved to The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to those who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses. This is completely their own idea and has been driven completely by them. They have also spoken to Mrs Denman and Mr McKee who have allowed there to be a non-uniform day on Monday in return for a £1 donation. Please show your support for these 3 students by clicking on their just giving page and donating what you can… as a school we are very proud and inspired that 3 of our own are demonstrating the levels of bravery and kindness that they are.
