The Go Skate project is a programme for young people aged 11-16 years organised by Brighton & Hove City Council’s Healthy Lifestyles Team inpartnership with Brighton Youth Centre.

The project teaches skateboarding as a pathway to better mental health and wellbeing.

–          The FREE course features six one-hour coached sessions at Brighton Youth Centre’s indoor skatepark.

–          Skateboards, helmets and pads are all provided, with follow-up sessions in the city’s free outdoor skateparks over the summer months.

–          Friendly and qualified coaches will teach participants how to ride a skateboard, basic moves and how to ride ramps, developing skills and confidence each week in a private space at your own pace.

–          For more information or to refer a young person call us on 01273 294589 or email us at HealthyLifestylesTeam@brighton-hove.gov.uk
