Black Lives Matter

In light of the recent protests taking place around the world to show support and solidarity for people of colour, year 8 students will be learning about these issues in Life Skills lessons. Lessons will cover; George Floyd, the Black Lives Matter movement, white privilege, white supremacy, Stephen Lawrence, Mark Duggan and the way in which Covid-19 has affected BAME communities. Lessons will be uploaded here weekly in case students from other year groups would like to learn more about this outside the set lockdown timetable.
