Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week – a week shining a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health.
YMCA Dialogue is a BACP accredited counselling and therapeutic service providing therapists to schools across Sussex and Surrey. During these uncertain times, our counsellors and therapists continue to support young people with a range of issues impacting their emotional health and mental wellbeing. Our experienced qualified counsellors and therapists are here to help during this time of unprecedented change.
e-wellbeing is YMCA Dialogue’s NHS approved digital wellbeing service. Our aim is for all young people to access the right support and information around their emotional health and mental wellbeing, in the right place at a time that is right for them. We understand that the impact of lockdown and home learning can be tough, so e-wellbeing has collated the attached Mental Health & Wellbeing Pack for Schools, Parents and Youth Groups filled with practical tools and worksheets to help young people with their wellbeing during this tricky time. For further resources, please visit www.e-wellbeing.co.uk/schools.
This year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is themed #ExpressYourself, and e-wellbeing is delighted to be joined by 14-year-old mental health activist and social entrepreneur Kenya. Alongside e-wellbeing’s youth ambassadors, Kenya will be sharing ways for young people to creatively express themselves whilst supporting their mental health and wellbeing.
