Paxton Employees Volunteer for Student Mentoring
The Brighton-based technology manufacturer Paxton has partnered with Love Local Jobs and Patcham High School, to provide student mentors for their Dare to Dream programme.
Dare to Dream is an inspirational programme challenging young people to change the way they think. Working with local influencers and businesses, we will be working with schools, youth clubs, colleges and universities to give young people the confidence they need to fulfil their potential.
Using themes of self-awareness, mindset, gratitude, resilience, teamwork and employability our speaker, and mentors use their own experiences and extensive knowledge to drive and motivate young people.
Our charismatic Programme Lead, Jack the Lad the well-known, former host of the Breakfast show on Heart FM and is now on air with More Radio, will be telling his own story as well as listening and understanding the incredible stories of the next generation and the future work force. Jack will be running conferences, seminars, facilitating classes that will help truly inspire our local young people.
Alongside Jack’s personal narrative and inspirational deliveries, local business volunteers mentor a number of disengaged students to promote and reinforce core themes that are central to wellbeing, employability and a positive future.
