GCSE Food Tech Exam
GCSE Food Tech Exam
Yesterday was a Year 11 Food Tech GCSE Exam where the theme of ‘celebration’ was used to create a variety of mouth watering dishes.
The dishes
Alex created a royal feast fit for a queen with roast chicken, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, long stem broccoli and gravy with cheese cake for dessert.
Molly prepared a halloween themed plater of salad with cheesy gravestones to start, mini pumpkin pies for main and vanilla bat biscuits for dessert!
Houman created perfectly cooked steak with pepercorn sauce, chips and cheesy garlic bread.
Regan prepared breaded chicken goujons with double cooked chips and millionaire shortbread.
Ethan prepared salmon on a bed of spinach and rice, with pavlova for dessert.
Jason made a creamy pasta dish, cornish pasties and an orio cheescake.
Hazel-Willow cooked a well presented battered halloumi, tartar salad with pickled quail eggs, wedges and minted pees. Cheese cake with chocolate decoration for dessert.
Mr McKee made sure he made an appearance to taste and judge all of their work! Mr Maier was extremely impressed with the quality of the final dishes.
