If you are experiencing difficulty in getting your child to attend school, Brighton & Hove City Council are running a series of drop-in support sessions. At each session there will be an Education Adviser and a Family Support Worker from the Schools Mental Health Service present. It will also be a chance to meet other parents/carers experiencing similar concerns to you. It’s a chance to have discussions about the best support for you and the advisers will also help with communication between you and your child’s school.
There are 8 sessions available over the remainder of the academic year and you don’t need to book. For details, read on.School avoidance sessions 05.01.24
