Devastating floods have hit Pakistan; it is thought a third of the country is under water, affecting an estimated 33 million people. To support the rehabilitation of those in crisis, Patcham High School will be holding a ‘Climate Change Impact on Pakistan Day’ the coming Thursday 29th September.
Although this day is marked as a non uniform day, we are encouraging students to wear something Green to demonstrate their support to Pakistan, if possible. A voluntary donation will be collected for the Flood Rehabilitation Appeal on the day.
Pupils will be learning about global warming, ways to look after our earth and how to reduce their carbon footprints. All proceeds from the day will go to Akhuwat – Flood Rehabilitaiton Appeal.
