Patcham Partnership Events
We place high value on strong partnerships with families, and our regular reporting and partnership evenings are key to that connection.
Through clear, accessible communication, we keep you informed about your child’s academic progress, achievements, and next steps. Partnership Events such as Meet the Teacher evenings are opportunities for meaningful dialogue with teachers, where successes are celebrated, targets are set, and support plans are refined. We see these conversations as part of a shared journey — working together to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Patcham Partnership Evenings
Each Year group will have one Meet the Teacher evening per year where families will have the opportunity to book 5 minute slots with your child’s teachers.
All Meet the Teacher evenings will run face to face and be held in the school from 4pm to 7pm
Bookings will be made via EduLink One with families able to specific slots approximately 2 weeks before.
The dates for each year group are scheduled across the year to gain the maximum benefit from the consultations for both staff and families. Specific dates are published on the school calendar with families able to filter by Year group.
In the Autumn term Year 7 families will have an additional opportunity for an individual meeting with their child’s form tutor face to face towards the end of the first half term to support the transition process.
Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 families will be invited to a Securing Success and Meet the Tutor Evening event. To find out how we can work in partnership to support your child this year followed by an opporunity to meet your child's tutor.

Student Progress Reports
Each student will receive two reports per year. One of these reports will be a ‘progress’ check which is a brief summary of the latest assessments taken for each subject, attitude to learning and homework scores, achievement points and attendance summary. The second report is a full report for each subject including all of the latest assessment and attendance information as well as comments from individual teachers for every subject.
Key Stage 3
In Years 7 to 9, reporting refers to student’s individual flightpaths. Students’ assessment results are allocated flightpaths that broadly equate to their progress and likely GCSE outcomes as shown in the graphic. The starting point of their progress is their Key Stage 2 (Year 6) SATs and their initial assessments in Year 7. Students may well move between flightpaths across different subjects and at different times within the Key Stage.
Key Stage 4
In Years 10 and 11, GCSE grades 9-1 are awarded for their assessments (flightpaths are no longer used). All reports will be uploaded to be viewed in EduLink One. Hard copies can be sent home on request. Reporting is generally released to Parents/Carers in time to coincide with consultation evenings.
