Over the summer break there are a number of well-being support services that remain open. Text SUSSEX to 85258 is a free service there to help anyone who is struggling with their feelings - by starting a silent conversation with a mental health professional. You will also find details in the images of the summer offer from the the schools mental health service.

Another year done, and what a year it’s been. So much to celebrate and look back on. Each year the Year 11 photo gets added to the wall along the link corridor. We love seeing how proud and excited the Y11’s are when it happens and we love seeing families finding themselves again when they come back in. For now, thank you to all our Patcham students and families for your partnership over the last year. Our new website is in the final stages of completion and we cannot wait to share it with you in September. Here’s to all the wonderful things 2025/26 will bring.

Join us at @patchamhighschoolofficial on Saturday 6th September at 10.30am for a morning of Rugby activities, Poi making and a Q&A with special guests from the @blackferns New Zealand Women’s Rugby Team whilst they’re here for the 2025 Rugby World Cup. The event is free to attend and aimed at inspiring children aged 8-14 into Rugby. What an incredible end to the week for our 60 football tour students. @officialbhafc @bhafcfoundation sent over coaches Will, Kaden and Adrian to train the students this afternoon followed by a visit from @joelveltman and @boscagli_28 who came from a day of training to spend time with our students, having heard about their missed trip. They answered some brilliant questions from our students and signed their boots and tops. What a way to end this week! We are so grateful to the Patcham High community for helping make this happen for our students. #patchamhighschool #football

What an incredible Enrichment week at Patcham High. We had Bletchley, legoland, cheer, dance, crochet, drama, food, golf, hever castle, jewellery making, law & justice, music tour to Paris, mindfulness, pier and sport, sealife centre, sports extravaganza, South Downs challenge, strategy games and Year 7 camp. Well some to all our students and thank you to all our staff for giving the students these amazing opportunities.

Our football tour may not have gone quite to plan this week but our students did us proud today showing their resilience, spending the day playing in a school football tournament. Thanks to our wonderful community, students enjoyed complimentary pizza from @fattoamanopizza for lunch, a change of scenery for the afternoon with football courtesy of @withdean_sports_complex And for the next couple of days they have free bowling @hollywoodbowluk at Brighton Marina and hugely discounted foot golf with @brightonfootgolf And the tour to the Netherlands is on track to be rescheduled for the autumn. #football #patchamhighschool #pizza #withdean #bowling #footgolf

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteer families who hosted our pre-loved uniform sale for our new Year 7 families. They raised a whopping amount which is being used to fund new sets of reading books for our students. #thankyou #preloveduniform #patchamhighschool

We had the best time on Friday welcoming Y6’s who will be joining us at Patcham High in September. The future class of 2030. They had a wonderful day exploring school, spending time in their tutor groups, getting to know each other, experiencing some lessons and taking home their present of a summer reading book. They were an absolute credit to their primary schools and families. We are looking forward to welcoming all Y6 parents and carers on Tuesday 8th July at 5.30pm for our Meet the Tutor event.

Don’t forget to arrive for 8.40am, come in your PE kit, bring a water bottle, a snack and a pencil case and we’ll provide lunch. Please share with anyone you know who will be joining us.
