COVER SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is considering a career in teaching or who wants to take a step back from full-time teaching.

We require an enthusiastic, confident person to be our Cover Supervisor who will supervise a group of students during the short-term absence of a teacher.  You will ensure the students carry out a pre-prepared lesson; you will not be required to plan or mark work.  The Cover Supervisor will maintain good order and keep students on task, responding to questions and generally assisting them to undertake set activities.  The successful candidate will be required to support our students and have a general love for learning.  You will work as part of a team or on your own under the direction of the Assistant Head and Cover Administrator.  The role involves supervising students in the absence of their teacher, carrying out academic mentoring and contributing to the school community. Job Title Cover Supervisor
Pay Range

The Salary Scale for this post is LGA Scale 5, Point 13-17, currently £29,064 - £31,022pa, full-time equivalent.

The actual pro-rata starting salary is £24,145.
Hours 

Monday to Friday inclusive, 8:15am - 3:30pm

Term time only paid for 47.36 weeks per year pro-rata.
Closing Date Tuesday 24th Feburary at 10pm
