PE Teacher's end of term challenge to raise funds for local charities
One of our PE teachers, Matt Lindner is taking on an incredible challenge on the final day of this term by juggling a football for the 12 miles from the Amex Stadium all the way to Sussex FA HQ in Lancing.
He is hoping to raise £1,750, which will be split as follows:
£750 to Martlets, supporting their incredible work with individuals and families affected by cancer. A couple of close friends have sadly been lost to this awful illness, and I want to do whatever I can so that fewer people have to go through it.
£1,000 split three ways between the grassroots communities that have shaped so much of our lives:
– Sussex Schools FA, where I coach the U14s, helping to fund Finals Day on June 6th so every district gets the day they deserve.
– Mile Oak FC, where I’m part of the Vets and coach the U14s, and where Rhys has played for seven years.
– Southwick FC, where I manage the brilliant U12s and Owen has proudly played for the last three years.
Any support, whether a donation or simply sharing his page is gratefully received. Thank you for helping him make a real difference.
