Drama
At Patcham High School, Drama provides opportunities for students to experiment with their imagination and creative expression in a safe, supportive environment where their voice is valued and their contributions are celebrated.
The curriculum is designed to build confidence in acting and performance, alongside independence, team-working, problem-solving and the ability to self-reflect.
Students study a range of topics through practical exploration including improvisation, devising, working from scripts, physical theatre, realism and verbatim theatre. We cover themes such as friendships, moral dilemmas and diversity.
We aim to make Drama inclusive, adaptable, fun and challenging so that all student can enjoy success and feel proud of their progress.
Why our students love Drama…
