Government Minister Praises Patcham's Mental Health Support
Minister praises Patcham High for leading the way in mental health education and student wellbeing.
Patcham High School recently welcomed a visit from Stephen Morgan MP, Minister for Early Education, alongside deputy leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, Jacob Taylor and Councillor Emma Daniels to see first-hand how our counselling pilot is supporting students’ wellbeing and attendance.
We spoke to them about how proud we are of the support we give young people with their mental health, and helping to keep them in education, as well as the relationships that we build with our parents and families in the community
As reported in The Argus, Mr Morgan said:
"It was fantastic to visit Patcham High School, seeing how mental health support helps break down the barriers to opportunity and make sure that every child gets the best start in life."
Councillor Jacob Taylor, said:
"Patcham High School is a wonderful school and we're really proud of its committed approach to inclusion."
