TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY - ECTs welcome to apply
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed teacher of Geography to teach across the full age and ability range from September 2026. Geography is taught as a separate subject throughout the school. There will be a small amount of KS3 History included with this post. Pay Scale: MTPS (placed on scale dependent on experience). Applications from experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome.

Geography is an established but growing curriculum area; we are looking to appoint a specialist Geography teacher as it is a very popular subject at our school with numbers growing steadily and with strong GCSE uptake and results. The Humanities team are vibrant and committed professionals.

Site Manager - Full Time
Patcham High School is seeking to appoint a Premises Manager to lead our site team. Required to start as soon as possible, this is a full-time role working 37 hours a week on a shift rota for 52 weeks. The salary for this role is paid on the LGA Pay Scale SO1/2, scale 23-28. Full time salary £34,434 - £39,152 per annum (pay award pending). Occasional overtime may be required to oversee weekend lettings or premises works.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all areas of Health and Safety and associated regulations. A clean driving licence, prior experience in a similar role and good computer skills are all essential.
You will have responsibility for managing the school site, vehicles, 3 caretakers and cleaning team to complete all maintenance tasks, compliance checks, ensuring a safe, clean and well-maintained site at all times. A full job description and personal specification is attached.
This is an exciting time to join our school, you will have the opportunity be part of the transition from a PFI (private finance initiative) set up to a self-managed school over the next 22 months. This will involve working closely with the PFI company in the short term and the senior leadership team and local authority to establish new processes and procedures to ensure the continued smooth running of the school.
